Sponsored Programs
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) provides assistance to faculty, administration and students who are seeking grant funding to support campus initiatives, research, programs and educational opportunities.
Grants have provided valuable support for research, programs and collaborative activities across all academic schools and many administrative areas of the campus. The diverse nature of these activities is the direct result of the dedication, creativity and tireless drive of many members within the Shepherd University community. If you are interested in seeking a grant or developing a proposal, explore the resources highlighted on this website and contact Jessica Kump at jkump@shepherd.edu to get started.
Highlights and Happenings
OSP is thrilled to introduce Tracy Bateman, who joined OSP as the senior grants manager in December 2017. Tracy will be leading the implementation and rollout of tools, resources and processes for grant management and tracking at Shepherd, helping us to improve the support we provide to faculty and staff on funded projects. If you have questions about your funded project contact Tracy at tbateman@shepherd.edu.
OSP has moved! Beginning January 2, 2018, OSP offices are now located in Gardiner Hall. Jessica Kump’s office is located in Gardiner 105 and Tracy Bateman is located in Gardiner 107. The new location also provides a collaboration space to support grant proposal development activities and training on grants management tools and processes. Stop by and visit your OSP team in their new space!
